Most drivers can drive our 3.5 tonne horsebox on a standard UK driving licence. A DVLA check code will be requested to check licence for driving offences. 

 Yes, the horsebox is fully insured and includes breakdown cover. Breakdown information can be found in the horsebox during hire period.

 Yes, we offer flexible half day and full day hire options. Please contact us for half day hire discount code, this is only applicable during the week - Mon-Thurs.

 We are conveniently located in Micheldever near Winchester with excellent road links. This is 10 mins from M3, A303 and A34.

Using the website booking calendar, look for any green on the calender. Because of the booking system, if the day is half red at the top and green at the bottom, this shows availability for this day. Please select the bottom green slot and select the following day to complete the day selection. Follow the online directions for payment.

Using the calendar on the booking page, select the day of hire that you want and then click the following day if you want a one day hire. The booking system works on 'nights stays' however you will hire for the first day you have selected. For example, if you want Saturday day hire, select Saturday and Sunday for costing. Then follow online instructions for payment. You will then get a confirmation email and instructions to set up an account with us.

Berties Box will not take a security deposit, we will take full payment for hire to hold dates. The security/damages deposit will be held on your card through Stripe for the 7 days starting the day before your hire. You will be sent a email to organise this. This is mandatory for all hires.
